研究内容

私達は断続的な感覚情報から、連続的で安定した外界認識（内部モデル）を作ることができます。当チームは、この内部モデルを経験に基づき作成、更新する脳回路、特に大脳皮質/視床回路について調べています。我々の最終目標は、内部モデルがどのように脳内で表象され、動的環境下での適切な行動を可能にするのか明らかにすることです。最先端の電気生理学、光遺伝学、認知行動課題の手法を組み合わせ、神経活動の記録、操作を行うことで、この問いに迫ります。これらの発見を通して精神疾患の新たな治療法やBMIの開発を目指します。
